Hi. My name is Christy. Welcome to my playground!

I am, a mom, a wife, a writer, an artist, a snowboarder and a yogi…. but not necessarily in that order. It changes moment to moment, day to day.

I love my life!

I also love sun filtering through the trees, having an adventure, and really dark chocolate… oh, and coffee! I couldn’t function without coffee.

This human life is such a wonderful, odd trip! I look forward to sharing my experiences with you!

As a Writer…

I must extend my ever-lasting gratitude to my HS English teacher, Mr. Pickering, for teaching me how to write. His weekly one-page “grinders” were an incredible exercise in expressing deep content in an economy of space. Also, I have great reverence for my journaling practice which helps me to sort my thought process and understand “the view from my desk”.

As an Artist…

I am largely self-taught, yet, I must extend heart-felt gratitude to the amazing teachers I’ve had from the online art-journaling and art-making workshops I’ve attended.
